The most exciting story in mountain resorts is now unfolding in the high Rockies. Keeping its five-year, $500-million master plan well in view, Canyons continues to move forward in developing the most exciting resort in American skiing and snowboarding. In just four years, this world-class ski resort has grown to become one of the five largest in the country and the largest single ski and snowboard resort in Utah.

Canyons is scheduled to open November 25, 2011 and close April 15, 2012.

Canyons is located just four miles from Park City's historic Main Street.

Getting to Canyons Resort

Utah's largest resort, Canyons, is found just 35 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport. Direct flights from most major cities enable you to leave home in the morning and ski Canyons the same afternoon. Take advantage of Park City's Quick Start and ski for free on arrival date.

Other activities and amenities

Enjoy horse drawn sleigh rides, western bbq, guided snowshoe tours, and dog sledding. Canyons recently added a state-of-the-art chair lift, the first of its kind in North America, with heated seats and an orange dome to keep in the warmth. In the summer enjoy 18 - hole disc golf course, lift served mountain biking and hiking.

Summer Season

Daily June 17, 2011 through Labor Day weekend. During the summer enjoy mountain biking and hiking (lift-served) and scenic chairlift rides. You can also take in a free summer concert.
